None. The course does not use cookies, pixels, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs or crash-reporting services. No personal information is transmitted to us or to any third party.

Your study progress is saved in your browser's local storage under the key practical-navigator-progress-v1. This includes:

• Which chapters you have marked as studied
• Your chapter quiz scores and unit test results
• Your mock exam attempts, scores and domain breakdowns
• Your study streak and last study date
• The name you optionally type for the certificate of completion

This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, synchronised or shared, and it is not accessible to anyone but you — and to anyone else who uses the same browser profile.

• Erase everything: clearing your browser's site data for this site removes all stored progress instantly and permanently.
• Study anonymously: the app works fully without a name; the certificate name field is optional and can be left blank or cleared at any time.
• Keep it offline: the installed app works without an internet connection, so you can study without any network access at all.

The app loads its own code and web fonts from its hosting provider when you first open it. After that, it is designed to run entirely offline from your browser's cache. No third-party trackers, advertising networks or social media SDKs are included.

Children

The course is a study aid for mariners and navigation students of any age. Because no personal data is collected from anyone, it is equally safe for younger learners.

Changes to this policy

If the course ever adds a feature that collects data — for example optional cloud sync of progress — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the change will be opt-in.
